combo of cymbalta and abilify

I have just recently been weaned off of 450 mg of effexor and put on cymbalta 60 mg at the same time. I took my last effexor last Wednesday. I was feeling better and perkier and laughing the past week or close to 2 after being on cymbalta for a week. Then I started crashing the past two days and crying. I called ER last night and talked to them about the meds. Then I called my doc today, who is increasing cymbalta to 90 mg a day. I also take 20 mg. buspar a.m. and p.m. My doc wanted...

I am thinking of starting to exercise now, but I am afraid of the pain that will come. I know I can't go at it "Marine Corps style" as I could before, and that at first I may only be able to do 5 minutes of exercise! I will set my timer and stop when it goes off, and be done. I was thinking a warm shower afterward, to get my sweat off me, as the toxins in my body fluids make me itchy, and maybe my Muscle Mist pain spray or emu oil. Hi

Found out today that the over the counter Ecotrin 500mg tablets I have been taking for a while is being pulled due to "not enough demand for it". I am done to my last bottle. I was taking 2 tablets per 6hrs, which made pain bearable. Has anyone come across an over the counter relief that works?

If you do, my pharmacist informed me they are pulling the generic again. She could not tell me why, but we will have to take the name brand once again. To me, this is a double edged sword. The name brand lasts longer, but $10 versus $50

i am stopping it all (cutting back the Cymbalta and starting Periactin at night) and going back to previous med regimen....i am overtaxed mentally, emotionally and physically (having rushed to bedside of daughter who had miscarried 2 weeks ago- when i was already going on fumes from an awful flare, another family crisis and a heavy load at work)....i should not have tried to cut back on the Cymbalta AND start the Periactin near the same time....i should know better...then Thursday my pain...

last week my daughter lost her baby and i made an emergency trip out of state to be with her...2 weeks before that my son flew me out to the southwest to visit with his family (under phenomenal stress themselves) and my youngest son....i do not travel well under the best of circumstances....so i am not really surprised at having my flare "flare up"...but not quite this bad.....

has anyone taken periactin? i have been prescribed the med to counter rebound headaches from the Vicodin that i am taking more often for the increased fibro pain.....(you may have to read that one 2-3x to get it- i know i did after i wrote it lol)...it is an old med- not even in my drug book....i had to ask pharmacist about it....one of the possible side effects is stimulation of appetite- i dont need one more ounce from a med thank you!....anyone? i guess it maybe more common in...

Another major flare and the fallout

Update: Rheumatologist Visit!

Well, I called the Doctor's Office that I was referred to for my RA. They didn't have a referral for me. I spoke with my regular dooctor's nurse and it turns out that the Rheumatologist doesn't accept Medicare and neither do the other 2 Rheumatologists in NW Arkansas. The only other one even remotely close is in Ft Smith and he will accept Medicare, but that doctor is more than 1 1/2 hours away. I really don't know what to do. The distance is so great that to get there...
