OUCH!!!

Ok, I did something pretty stupid tonight. Well, I guess it wasn't all that stupid since I could never have predicted it would happen....

I was cleaning the kitchen after our dinner this evening. The dog was looking so cute so I tossed some of the roast scraps onto the floor. I was TRYING to stop her from woofing them down so I could give her more... but she zoomed in. My leg went out to block her... then... my feet went out from under me.... and not in the traditional way...

How do you know when too much is too much when just beginning is TOO MUCH?????

Hi everyone,
Just starting to come back on board.. I probably won't be on too much as it kills my back sitting at the computer.. but I'll check in now and then..
I know all of you probably know what I'm talking about here....
Everyday I find it hard just to get out of bed, I HURT SO MUCH, then I make it downstairs and make coffee and do a few things and I'm down on the sofa... some days I can do a few things...other days......

Dear Friends:

I got the letter from SSDI saying it was partially favorable. This means that Judge Judy the ALJ (administrative law judge) approved my disability, but only from January 29 08 my Fiftieth birthday. My attorney kept pushing for December 04 when I first filed for SSDI.

She was dead set on that, and thats exactly what she did. So now I have to wait until May or June of next year to be eligible for Medicare. I will have to go on Medicaid to help me medically...

I got the flu, I have a cough, one that is deep in my lungs and nothing seems to help.
I ache all over and then I ache some more. I can't sleep and I can't stay awake. I just plain feel crappy.

Well, things here in Texas aren't so great...... I've been to Ft Hood and it is a HUGE base.
Was surprised to see it was an officer that shot and killed so many. My hubby, a retired AF officer, predicted it would be a Muslim. Sorry, but that is what he said. Don't mean to offend anyone, but he was right. God bless them all.

I talked with C.J. this morning and she had just gotten home not long before I called.
She is still taking antibiotics for her leg. She say it is better but still not like it should be.

I started Monday with what seemed to be a head cold, but it has gotten worse with congested head and cough. I don't have a temperature and I am pretty sure it is not the flu, but am thinkng it might be another sinus infection. I made an appointment with my family doctor for 3:45 today cause I need to know if it is safe to go ahead with our plans to leave for Florida Saturday to go down and visit my parents. I have found that my proventil inhaler helps with the cough so I am using it 3...

I hit the wall yesterday and had to take a day off of work. It all started Sunday afternoon when I got this blinding headache right behind my right eye. Yesterday was very interesting day for me. I went to have my blood work done and the Tech had to stick me 5 times and then had to call in an RN to get any blood. Because of the aspirin I take , every time he would try it caused bleeding under the skin. I looked great with 5 places of blue tape on my arms..They told me I should call my Cardio and tell her, which I did and her reply through her asst was" Oh, she shouldn't be taking take much, so now I'm on baby aspirin of 81mg. I got a phone call this evening from an Army Recruiter wanting to recruit me into the Army... I don't know what list he got my name off from but I told him at this point of my life the Army isn't for me. tired after a busy weekend with the wild party on Friday with 11 11/12 year old kids and had five spent the night. Sat my gson and one of the twins went t/t for awhile an we are down to 3 kids. Tonight just our gson.

This is also the first day of the time change and that always takes a few days to adjust to. We usually have 100's of kids at the door but only 18 so again a big bowl of candy left. Thank heaven it is kinds my gson and his friends will eat and I will leave...

Well, I have good news

All of C.J.'s tests came back good. They did say that she was anemia and would probably start giving her iron. She said she was surprised about that.

Now they are just watching her leg to decide what needs to be done.. They have it wrapped and are waiting to see if this helps.
She isn't sure went she gets to go...
