He woke me up complaining of chest pains. They have admitted him into the hospital and now they don't know if it is heart related or something else. They had considered gall stone so they took an ultrasound and did a CT scan. What they found could be even worse. They are talking colon or liver cancer. I have to be back at the hospital tomorrow morning because, even though I am one of 5, since Dad lives with me, he is my responsibility. You all know how that goes for us daughters. I will keep you all informed and I would appreciate as many Cloudie prayers as I can get - I know how great they work. Su

And about what you said about there are 5 of you but you take care of him, I can relate ! there were 7 of us , but after my father passed in 1990, I pretty much took over caring for my Mom. Cancer is a horrible disease to deal with. liver or colon cancer is hard on people. My dad passed away from Colon Cancer. I hope that if he does have Cancer that they caught it early & that he will do well. I pray all will work out well for your family. My heart goes out to you. I know so many people who have gotten Cancer & beat it or ended up losing the battle. It is such a scary thing to deal with. Boy, I am really praying for you my friend. As an update, Dad couldn't do the stress test yesterday due to pain so they did a heart cath instead. They fould blockages in several small vessels that the dr. said was normal for someone Dad's age (78). They also found a 90% blockage in a larger vessel that should have surgery but, "due to his other problems" they are going to treat with medicine. That is all anyone is saying at this point since they haven't been able to do further tests. He is to have a colonoscopy done tomorrow. I don't know when or if they will do the liver biopsy. Every time I leave the room for a few minutes, the doctor comes in. My brother who is with Dad now doesn't ask any questions. It is very frustrating. Su
