My pup Odin's daddy Glenn passed away on father's day June 15. He had Lymphoma (the doctor believed due to the area he came from when he was a boy)he was from an area not far from chernobyl. Unfortunately, after he took a turn for the worst after it went in remission in January with chemo treatment. He was doing well! It came back & he passed away from Congestive Heart Failure. Odin's grandma Katarina *his breeder* came over with her hubby on 6-18 & was heart broken. Odin was the only boy to come out to look like his daddy. blue eye & one hazel eye, harlequin & an alpha male. He was 9 years old & would have lived a lot longer. I feel bad for Katarina. She still has Odin's mommy Ursula & Auntie Greta. I feel bad for them. They were in tears, they are in their early 50's & never had human children. Luckily, Odin does not have the genetic profile for Cancer/Lymphoma, so I pray that he will stay & live a long happy healthy life. Odin will sire when he is ready & we plan to have him get with a Mantle so he has Mantles & Harlequin puppies. They typically have at least 6 pups & the stud fee is a lot of money, but that's not why we are doing this. We want to keep Odin's bloodline going. Especially now that his daddy is gone. We will let Odin be a baby for now. He will be 4 in August. He is happy & healthy!! We love him so much. He is our son & our sunshine. We don't take him for granted ever!
I just wanted to share with my fellow friends what happened. I think Odin does know ever since his grandma Katarina came over he has started to act a little differently. He is more protective, has been eating more & is doing the Alpha male thing big time.
much love to you all my friends,
Dawn
RIP Glenn you are missed & loved forever. Your pain is gone & you are home now. Amen
